Our History
2015
The Vision is Born
In 2015, a shared dream brought together three passionate changemakers—Sagar Mahadev Chikane, Darshan Navnath Mahadik, and Sejal Sagar Chikane. Motivated by a deep concern for the lives of children in marginalized and backward communities, they envisioned forming an organisation that would go beyond charity—one that would create lasting change. This vision gave birth to the idea of a dedicated NGO focused on the well-being, protection, and empowerment of vulnerable children.

2020 – From Idea to Impact
After years of groundwork, community engagement, and strategic planning, the Apulki Foundation formally began its operations. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves a life of dignity and opportunity, the Foundation launched its first programmes in Maharashtra, addressing critical needs such as education, health, nutrition, and child protection. Despite global challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Apulki stood with communities—offering relief, hope, and long-term support.
